Who are Blujon
Blujon is an independent group of musicians based across Europe. The members come from very diverse countries and backgrounds. The mix of Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, UK and New Zealand cultures enbles the band to produce a very eclectic body of work. The bands support services are as diverse as the musicians being based in the USA, UK, the Netherlands and Spain making Blujon a truly international collaboration. The band’s independent status makes for an unparalleled degree of freedom to explore musical influences that normally exist outside the popular music genre.
The influences that come together in Blujon’s music range from the classically educated Samantha Schoon (vocals) and Will Fletcher (Keyboards and Bass guitar) to the Eastern European folk/Electro rock that Krasi Zorbov (Guitar) contributes combined with US and UK rock. The solid but subtle percussion and drumming of Grazy Coral makes for a robust platform. Many people within the music industry have found it difficult to place Blujon into a genre or box as the band is so unique.
All the band's work is recorded, mixed and mastered in house. The band's first writing team Will's And Krasi produced some interesting work, however when Krasi returned to Bulgaria he dropped out form the writing to pursue working with other writers.
Following the death of Helen the band's manager Will's met Samantha and they started to write together finally becoming the band's main writing team. Will and Sam's writing has become very fruitful
